Settings & Configuration

brūhi Desktop provides both an in-app settings workspace and a system configuration file (config.toml) for advanced setups.

Configuration File Location

Settings and user data are stored in standard platform directories:

Audio Engine Settings

Adjust audio latency, sample rates, and channel configurations from System → Audio Settings in the app or via config.toml:

Audio Processing & Gap Killer

Configure default transition parameters in System → Playout Settings:

• Crossfade Duration: Default segue length in seconds (0.5s to 10.0s).
• Crossfade Curve: Select transition profile (Linear, Equal Power, or Exponential).
• Gap Killer Threshold: Silence detection level in dBFS (-60 dB to -24 dB). Silence below this threshold triggers immediate deck transition.
• Gap Killer Min Silence: Minimum duration of silence (100 ms to 1000 ms) before Gap Killer activates.

Interface & Personalization

• Color Modes: Switch between Dark Mode, Light Mode, or System Auto Theme.
• Accent Colors: Select UI highlight colors (Cyan, Emerald, Amber, Violet).
• Deck Waveforms: Enable high-resolution scrolling waveforms or standard progress bars.
