brūhi Cloud runs as a containerized stack containing the FastAPI backend, SvelteKit web dashboard, native bruhi-audio Rust stream engine, and bundled Icecast server.

RequirementMinimum
Docker24.0 or later with Docker Compose plugin
CPU2 cores (4+ for multiple stations)
RAM2 GB (4 GB recommended)
Architecturex86_64 or ARM64 (AWS Graviton, Apple Silicon, etc.)
Ports open8000 (dashboard/API), 8010 (Icecast), 8100+ (station harbors), 80/443 (HTTPS)

The recommended way to deploy brūhi Cloud on any Linux server (AWS EC2, Lightsail, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Linode) is the automated interactive install script:

Terminal window
bash <(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bruhi-technologies/bruhi-deploy/main/install.sh)

The installer guides you through domain configuration, auto-generates secure streaming passwords, downloads docker-compose.yml and Caddyfile, and pulls the latest Docker image.

Once complete, start the stack:

Terminal window
cd ~/bruhi-cloud
docker compose up -d
  1. Download Deployment Configuration

    Terminal window
    mkdir -p ~/bruhi-cloud && cd ~/bruhi-cloud
    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bruhi-technologies/bruhi-deploy/main/docker-compose.yml -o docker-compose.yml
    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bruhi-technologies/bruhi-deploy/main/Caddyfile -o Caddyfile
    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bruhi-technologies/bruhi-deploy/main/.env.example -o .env
  2. Configure Environment

    Edit .env and set your domain name and secure passwords:

    COMPOSE_PROFILES=bundled-icecast,proxy
    DOMAIN=radio.yourdomain.com
    BRUHI_URL=https://radio.yourdomain.com
    BRUHI_RP_ID=radio.yourdomain.com

    See Self-Hosting Guide for the complete variable reference.

  3. Start the Stack

    Terminal window
    docker compose up -d
  4. Verify Health

    Terminal window
    curl http://localhost:8000/healthz
    # {"status":"ok"}

    Open https://radio.yourdomain.com (or http://your-server-ip:8000) in your browser to complete the first-time setup wizard.
